To be honest, we are really proud of our "smallest" products, namely our miniature sheathed thermocouples with an outer diameter of less than 0.5 mm. They are primarily used where very fast response times are required with very thin outer diameters, e.g. for measuring the temperature of spark plugs or engine test benches. If vibrations and similar mechanical stresses prevent the use of resistance thermometers, the miniature sheathed thermocouples are also the ideal solution.

True miniature marvels
These miniature diameters result in a much faster response time, so that it is possible to react more quickly to temperature changes, i.e. with a diameter of 0.5 mm, the response time for direct heat transfer is approx. 25 ms - with 0.25 mm, on the other hand, it is approx. 7 ms. A huge difference in the millisecond range. We always deliver manual precision work, because we understand your problem and our trade. Our sheathed thermocouples are manufactured on the basis of mineral-insulated sheathed cables. Production and design are in accordance with DIN EN 60584.
