General Information
In accordance with our legal obligation, we would like to inform you about the collection and use of your personal data.
When you use our website, personal data about you is collected. This may occur when you enter the data yourself—such as your email address. However, our system also automatically collects data from you, such as information about your visit to our website. This occurs regardless of the device or software you use to access our website.
Any data you enter on our website is voluntary; you will not suffer any disadvantages if you choose not to provide your data. However, without certain data, we are unable to provide services or enter into contracts. We will inform you of any such required information in each case.
This website collects the user’s personal data only in accordance with applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The technical terms used in this text are explained in more detail in Article 4 of the GDPR.
Under the GDPR, data processing is permitted in three specific cases:
- pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) and Article 7 of the GDPR, if you have consented to our processing of your data; in each case, we will inform you in detail in advance in this Privacy Policy and at the time you provide your consent, in accordance with Article 4(11) of the GDPR, regarding the purposes and circumstances under which we process your data;
- pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, if the processing of your personal data is necessary for the initiation, conclusion, or performance of a contractual relationship;
- pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, if, following a balancing of interests, the processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests; these include, in particular, our interests in analyzing, optimizing, and securing the content on our website—which primarily involves analyzing user behavior, creating profiles for advertising purposes, storing access data, and using third-party providers.
Inventory Data
We collect personal data to the extent necessary for establishing, defining the terms of, or modifying a contractual relationship (including one provided free of charge) between us and the user. This may include: customer data (e.g., name, address), contact information (e.g., email address, phone number), and service details (e.g., service ordered, term, fee). When establishing the user relationship, we will request this information from you (e.g., name, address, and email address) and will also inform you to what extent providing each piece of information is mandatory in order to establish the user relationship.
Usage Data
We also collect usage data to enable users to access the services on our website. This may include: usage information (e.g., web pages or sections accessed, duration of visit, interest in services), content data (e.g., data, text, images, audio, and videos entered or uploaded by you), and metadata (e.g., your device’s identity, location, IP address).
We will only combine usage data if and to the extent that it is necessary for billing purposes. Otherwise, we will only process usage data in a pseudonymized form and only if you have not objected to such processing. You may submit this objection at any time to the address provided in the legal notice or to the data controller named in this Privacy Policy.
The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in analyzing the website and its use, and, where applicable, the legal authorization to store data in connection with the initiation of a contractual relationship pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Web Host
1&1 IONOS SE
Our website is made available online by a service provider (provider or host). We use the services of 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We have entered into a data processing agreement with our provider. Under this agreement, our provider is obligated to process your data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. Further information on data processing by our provider can be found in its privacy policy at https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy. The legal basis for this data processing is, on the one hand, our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in providing and operating our website on the Internet and, where applicable, the legal authorization to store data in connection with the initiation of a contractual relationship pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Every time you use this website, our provider processes information—known as server log files—that is automatically transmitted by your browser whenever you visit websites on the Internet. This information includes:
- Your IP address
- Your browser type and version
- Hostname
- Date of Visit
- the website from which you visited our website
- Name of the website visited
- the exact time of the call, as well as
- the amount of data transferred
This data is used solely for statistical purposes and does not allow us to identify you as a user.
Before sending you promotional materials—unless such materials are for products similar to those you have already purchased—we will ask for your explicit consent in accordance with Article 4(11) of the GDPR. This applies in particular when you give us your consent to receive our newsletter or fill out a contact form. You may withdraw your consent at any time in accordance with the section below titled “Consent.”
If we use your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you may also object to the use of your data for this purpose at any time. You can do this, for example, through any of our contact options, including informally via email to the email address listed in the legal notice. We will then no longer use your data for direct marketing.
Initial contact via an electronic inquiry
If you contact us electronically (e.g., via email, fax, phone, messenger, etc.), we will store and process the data you have provided to us (e.g., name, contact information, content of the inquiry). The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in effective customer communication pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and, insofar as the inquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, also Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
We will only disclose this data to third parties to the extent that it is necessary (pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) for the performance of the contract, that this serves the overriding interest in effective service (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), or if your consent (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) or another legal authorization or obligation exists.
You may request information from us at any time, free of charge, regarding the purpose of the processing, the source, and, if applicable, the recipients of your personal data. Furthermore, you may request the rectification, erasure, and restriction of the processing of your personal data. You may object to the (further) processing of your data at any time and have the right to data portability as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
As a general rule, your data will only be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the respective data processing. Further storage may be considered, in particular, if it is still necessary for legal proceedings or to protect legitimate interests, or if there is a legal obligation to retain the data (e.g., tax retention periods, statute of limitations).
Consent
Whenever we ask for your consent to process your data, we will inform you in clear and easily accessible language about the specific purposes for which you are giving your consent. Any consent we request is voluntary; any benefit you wish to obtain by giving your consent can also be obtained without it—just ask us.
For any consent you have provided, you have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. You may do so by sending an informal notification, e.g., via our contact form, by email to the address listed in the legal notice, or by using an unsubscribe link (if we provide one). Your revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to that point.
Retention period
As a general rule, your data will only be stored for as long as required to fulfill the purpose of the respective data processing. Further storage may be considered, in particular, if it is still necessary for us to pursue legal claims or to protect our other legitimate interests.
For your personal data required to fulfill a contractual relationship (including one provided free of charge), this means that we will store it until the contractual relationship has been fully fulfilled or terminated, plus the statute of limitations period (which is generally 2 or 3 years), along with a reasonable margin to account for any interruption of the statute of limitations.
For your usage data collected during your use of the website, this means that we will store it only for as long as is necessary for the proper functioning of our website and as long as our legitimate interest requires. We will primarily store statistical data in pseudonymized form.
In addition, we will continue to store your data to the extent that we are legally required to do so. This applies in particular to tax retention periods, which generally amount to 6 or even 10 years.

Data Entry
Encryption
When you enter data on our website—whether on a contact form, during registration, when logging in, or for payment purposes—the webpage where you enter the data is encrypted. This prevents third parties from seeing the data you enter. You can recognize the encryption by the padlock icon in your browser and by the fact that the address bar begins with “https” instead of just “http.”
Contact Form
General Contact Form
If you fill out a contact form or send us an email or other electronic message, your information will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry, any follow-up questions, or other related inquiries, and will be used only in connection with that inquiry.
Your data is transmitted in encrypted form, which means that third parties cannot read your data as it is being entered, even if they have access to the network (e.g., on unsecured public Wi-Fi networks).
The basis for this data storage is our legitimate interest in communicating with interested users pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and, in the case of contract inquiries, the storage of contract data pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Your data will remain stored for as long as is necessary to process your request, particularly if storage is still required for the fulfillment or processing of a contract, for us to pursue legal claims, or based on our other legitimate interests, or if we are legally required to retain your data (e.g., in accordance with tax retention periods).
Offer
On our website, you will find a contact form that you can use to request a quote for our services. We collect the data provided in the form, which is necessary to prepare the quote.
Your data is entered in an encrypted format, which prevents third parties from reading your data during the entry process.
The legal basis for this data storage is our legitimate interest in communicating with interested users pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and—in the case of contract inquiries—the storage of contract data pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Your data will remain stored for as long as is necessary to process the inquiry, in particular as long as storage is still required for the fulfillment or processing of a contract, for the pursuit of legal claims by us, or based on our other legitimate interests, or as long as we are legally required to retain your data (e.g., in accordance with tax retention periods).
Please Call Back
On our service page, you can request a callback from one of our service representatives. Here, we ask for
– your first name, because we’d like to address you personally,
– your phone number, so we can call you back, and
– your email address, because we’ll send you email confirmations of your requests.
Your data is entered in encrypted form, which prevents third parties from reading it as you enter it.
The basis for this storage is our legitimate interest in communicating with users who are themselves interested in doing so, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, and, in the case of contract-related inquiries, the storage of contract data pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
Your data will be stored for 6 months after processing is complete so that we can refer back to the service results already generated in the event of future service requests.
Social Media
Social Media Links
General Information
We provide links to our social media profiles. Unlike social media plugins, these links do not automatically notify the social media platform of your visit the moment you access our site. However, like any link, they will result in your data being processed by the social media platform at the latest when you click on the link. The social media platform will typically store cookies on your device or even track your usage behavior and associate it with your account, especially if you are logged in. The social media platform can use your data to analyze your user behavior and use it for (targeted) advertising. This may result in you seeing ads both within and outside the social media platform. Please consider for yourself whether you are willing to accept this, and use a social media platform only if you have sufficiently informed yourself about the data processing that takes place there and agree to it (this applies in particular if you have not yet used the platform yourself)—we have included links to the privacy policies of the respective social media platforms.
Our website contains links to our page on the social network LinkedIn, operated by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, a subsidiary of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Ct., Ste. 200, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
It's just a regular link, so when you visit our site, LinkedIn won't know that you've visited our website. However, if you click on the link, you'll be redirected to LinkedIn, which means LinkedIn will know that you visited our site.
As a result, your data may be transferred to the United States.
We are not aware of—nor do we have any control over—the collection and use of your data by LinkedIn that may occur after you click the link. For more information, please refer to LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?_l=de_DE.
YouTube
Our site contains links to our page on the social network YouTube, operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This is just a standard link; when you visit our site, YouTube is not notified of your visit to our website. However, if you click on the link, you will be redirected to YouTube, which means YouTube will then know that you visited our site.
The data collected by Google may be transferred by Google to countries outside the EU, particularly the United States.
However, we have ensured that your data is transferred to the U.S. only on the basis of a contract that complies with the Standard Contractual Clauses. In addition, this provider is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. This means that data transfers to the U.S. are legally permissible based on the Adequacy Decision concluded on July 10, 2023.

Social Media Videos
YouTube (Two Clicks)
In accordance with our legitimate interest in providing a technically sound online service and ensuring its economically efficient design and optimization pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we use YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to embed videos. Normally, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer as soon as you visit a page with embedded videos. However, we use a “two-click” solution, which means that Google does not learn your IP address or that you have visited our website until you click the button. If you click the plugin while you are logged into YouTube, Google can associate your usage with your user account.
We have entered into a data processing agreement with this provider, under which the provider processes your data only on our behalf, in accordance with the GDPR, and in accordance with our instructions. For more information, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. Additionally, for general information on the use and deactivation of cookies, please refer to the relevant section in this Privacy Policy.
Hotjar
We use Hotjar to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize the content and experience on this website. With the help of Hotjar’s technology, we gain a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g., how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and dislike, etc.), and this helps us tailor our content based on user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about our users’ behavior and their devices, specifically the device’s IP address (which is collected and stored only in anonymized form while you are using the website), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), and the preferred language for displaying our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data collected on our behalf. Personal data is automatically anonymized. You will never be personally identified.
Google Analytics 4
In accordance with our legitimate interest in providing a technically sound online service and in its economically efficient design and optimization pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as well as your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, we use the Google Analytics tool provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This allows us to analyze website usage, and pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the data. To do this, Google uses various techniques based on algorithms; cookies may also be set. Google assigns a pseudonymous number to each user of our website for this purpose. “Pseudonymous” means that neither the user’s name, email address, nor any other data that uniquely identifies the user is used. This number is then used to analyze how individual users interact with our online content. This includes the date and time of use, as well as page views, scrolling to the bottom of the page, clicks on external links, website searches, viewing of embedded YouTube videos, and file downloads.
The data collected by Google may be transferred by Google to countries outside the EU, in particular the United States. We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Google, under which Google processes your data only in accordance with our instructions. This DPA also stipulates that Google may transfer data to the United States only in accordance with the Standard Contractual Clauses; see the Data Processing Terms for Google Advertising Products, available at https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/. Furthermore, this provider is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. This ensures that data transfers to the U.S. are legally permissible based on the Adequacy Decision concluded on July 10, 2023.
Google automatically anonymizes your IP address using a technical process, so that it is not stored on a hard drive. To ensure adequate protection of your data, we have also entered into a data processing agreement with Google, under which Google will not combine your data with other data collected by Google in order to identify you.
If this is not sufficient for you, you can also download and install Google's browser plugin to block Google Analytics at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de, which will prevent Google from collecting and sharing your personal data.
You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking the link below: "Disable Google Analytics" to set an opt-out cookie, which will also prevent the collection of your data.
