Mineral-insulated mineral-insulated thermocouples are an ideal solution for temperature measurement in the presence of vibrations and oscillations, as well as mechanical stress. Mineral-insulated mineral-insulated thermocouples with a tapered measuring point have a special design. The thicker rear part of the mineral-insulated thermocouple corresponds to the original outer diameter of the sheathed cable and gives the thermocouple the desired stability for the desired application.

The measuring tip at the front can be reduced to half the original diameter over a length of 50-150mm, significantly reducing the response time of the measuring point.

This process is achieved by cold forming, whereby the stability of the measuring tip is further increased by this process. A stable design of a larger outer diameter with a faster response time can thus be ideally combined. A reduction of the outer diameter in several steps is also possible.
