A mineral-insulated sheathed heating conductor consists of a live inner conductor (heating wire), which is shielded against the metal sheath with magnesium oxide in the heating section and cold section. The diameter and quality of the inner core in particular have an influence on the resistance and therefore the heating capacity of the heating conductor. A high-quality sheath material determines the maximum operating temperature and resistance under certain environmental influences.
The special thing about our customized solution is that you can define heating part and cold part lengths according to your requirements using the table below. We offer you an enormous range of individual solutions. We will be happy to assemble your sheathed heating cable with seamless cold ends with ceramic current connections or stranded cables. We will of course be happy to assist you with the heatsealing band calculation and are available to answer any questions you may have in connection with your heating application. Custom-made products are possible from small quantities. Please contact us at any time.
