Mineral-insulated heating conductors and mineral-insulated sheathed heating conductors with cold ends are used in a wide range of applications and industries. They are associated with high expectations in terms of service life, reliability and safety. Especially in vacuum or high-temperature environments.
The function of the current connections is to separate the current-carrying inner conductor from the sheath so that the current is insulated. Depending on the application and temperature range, the current connections for heatsealing bands are divided into stranded cables with direct connection and metallic/ceramic current connections.
